Once in orbit and when everything was ready we were able to descend in the main shuttle.
The descent was rapid, towards lands very rich in vegetation, strange vegetation of gigantic trees and huge plants. Once on the ground we realized that the gravity here was lighter, medium G, and that the atmosphere was perfect for human life, so our fears became more apparent, what we would find there would be enormous, this new species after several generations would not only be abominations but would be gigantic abominations of crosses not only of land animals, but of native animals of this planet. We all got to work in our field and even on a containment and flight plan, since we did not know if the weapons we carried could be effective against what we could find there.

When they were close to us we had no choice but to squeeze in and hide behind the big trees, without taking our eyes off the source of the sound I saw one of the most amazing things I could see, I saw how nature on earth was reproduced here On a large scale, it was about what looked like a four-legged animal running, fleeing from some predator, the animal was furry, it had large eyes on the front and what looked like a couple more on the sides of what was its head, which resembled what could be a wild boar, due to the giant horns that come out of its mouth on both sides, the structure of the head was fine and widened greatly in the chest, with large and powerful front legs and a very disproportionate small hind legs, similar to the hyenas known on earth.

I was looking for similarities, since the creature was different from what I had seen before but it did not stop being a quadruped, similar to a mammal that was running away from something. When suddenly, something came out of a clearing in the forest near some of my companions and swallowed part of the entire terrain, swallowed the large animal and two of my companions, surrounding plants and everything that was there was left as a kind of crater , which was later left as debris when tremendous suction blew plants and sand out of the opening. It must have been a predator, some kind of sucking worm that angled its prey in a single bite and erupted to spew out the remains of what was left. Without a doubt he was one of the creatures of the new generation of living beings, the most recent in the known universe, he seemed young, although his mouth with large fangs and his eyes rested on me with the spite of the outcasts, his ancient ancestors. I was paralyzed and thought that these were the last moments of my life, the rest of the team was equally petrified, they had us all located and no one wanted to take a single step.

To this day, without having retired yet, doubts assail me day after day, I don’t even want to think about the day when humanity will have to face those outcasts that we expelled, those exiles who managed to gain a foothold on a planet plagued with threats and what is worse, by the time they can leave it to attack, it will be a planet full of threats that they managed to dominate.
